OUR PRODUCTION PROCESS

Our growing environment flavor profile differs from the Rooibos teas grown in other parts, notably Western Cape.

The altitude and temperatures in Nieuwoudtville allows for greater density and deeper aroma. This impacts profit margins as less Niewoudtville tea is required to be bagged to obtain a minimum weight in the tea bag, than with tea grown in lower lying areas.

Located in Niewoudtville, our Rooibos is grown and harvested under strict compliance with applicable regulations governing Rooibos production.


Niiewoudtvillle is the start point of the 121 km Rooibos Heritage Route and as such showcases the legacy of the San people.

The factory has achieved USDA, JAS and EU Certification for organic Rooibos production
